Narrative
Acclaimed conductor Thibaut has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor
He learns that he was adopted, finds an older brother, a musician and a factory worker. Their reunion starts a fraternal, musical journey in the middle of the city’s factory closings.
At the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Premiere category
I just watched it in Brazil at the Varilux French Film Festival. Nice story about bonding with family members, the "what could have been" in life.
Drama, but with warmth and some laughs
The acting of the two main characters is on point, especially the brother played by Pierre Lotin, whose role is a somewhat closed personality, but with a good heart. A believable story without being too dramatic.
